Background PA Systems

Things to consider are:-

  • The amount of zones/rooms you are looking to cover (remember to include toilets, break out rooms and outdoor spaces).
  • The size of the rooms
  • The length of the cable runs from the amplifier to the speakers (for longer runs you may need a 100v line system).
  • The application - you may want just background or you may want a paging microphone, or a high powered front end in the main room to allow performers and DJs to plug in.
  • Do you want to remotely control the system from a switch on the wall or even from an app on your phone?
  • The amount of channels/sources:- you may want to run piped background Spotify music one one channel, integrate your Sky TV onto another, have a plug in for the DJ in the main room and have separate mood music in the toilets!! Anything is achievable.
